A corrugated box is light for its strength: the flutes inside each wall hold the flat liners apart, keeping the box rigid and cushioning what is packed.

HOW BOXES ARE MADE
From flat sheet to finished box.
Cut and scored
Corrugated sheets are cut to size and scored where the box will fold.
Slotted, folded and joined
The sheet is slotted to form the flaps, folded along the scores and joined into a box of the agreed inside dimensions.
Flutes upright
A box takes its stacking strength from flutes standing upright in its walls, so the way the flutes run in the sheet matters before it becomes a box.
FROM PAPER TO BOX
Every box starts as kraft paper we procure.
- Kraft paper is procured in various GSM grades.
- It is converted into corrugated sheets.
- Those sheets are converted into your boxes.
Because all three steps sit under one responsibility, a box requirement can be discussed from the material upward.

What gives a corrugated box its strength?
Its walls: flat paper liners glued to a wavy middle layer called the fluting. The flutes form a row of connected arches that hold the liners apart, which makes the box rigid for its weight and cushions what is inside.
Why does flute direction matter in a box?
A box takes its stacking strength from flutes standing upright in its walls. Tell us how the boxes will be stacked and shipped so the construction can be discussed with that in mind.
How should corrugated boxes be stored?
Flat and dry until use. Paper takes up moisture from the air, and damp conditions reduce a box's compression strength.
