PRODUCT 01
Corrugated sheets, manufactured from kraft paper.
Corrugated sheets are the intermediate material of corrugated packaging: a fluted medium bonded between flat liners. Annant Udyog manufactures them from kraft paper for further conversion or for direct use.

WHAT WE MAKE
Sheets for converters and for direct use.
Sheets are produced from kraft paper procured in various GSM grades. They are cut to the sheet dimensions agreed for each requirement and can be used as-is or converted into boxes.
A sheet's strength comes from its flutes: a row of connected arches that holds the flat liners apart, making the sheet rigid for its weight and cushioning pressure on its face.

PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION
Flat liners bonded to a fluted middle layer.
Liners
The flat outer faces of the sheet. Held apart by the flutes, they carry the bending load, like the faces of a sandwich panel.
Fluting
Paper shaped into waves between corrugating rolls and glued to the liners with starch at the flute tips. Larger flutes generally give more cushioning and stacking strength; smaller flutes give a smoother, flatter surface.
Flute direction
A box takes its stacking strength from flutes standing upright in its walls, so the way the flutes run in a cut sheet matters. Tell us how the sheet will be used.

CUT TO SIZE
Slit, scored, cut to length and stacked.
Once the board is formed, it is slit to width, scored where it will fold, cut to the agreed sheet length and stacked.

FROM PAPER TO BOX
Kraft paper, sheet and box from one supplier.
- Kraft paper is procured in various GSM grades.
- It is converted into corrugated sheets.
- Sheets are converted into boxes to your dimensions.
Because all three steps sit under one responsibility, a sheet requirement can be discussed together with the box it will become.

FAQ
Common questions.
What is a corrugated sheet?
A sheet made of flat paper liners glued to a wavy middle layer called the fluting. The flutes form a row of connected arches that hold the liners apart, which makes the sheet rigid for its weight.
Why does flute direction matter?
A box takes its stacking strength from flutes standing upright in its walls. If a sheet will become a box or carry a load, tell us how it will be used so the orientation can be agreed before cutting.
How should corrugated sheets be stored?
Flat and dry. Paper takes up moisture from the air: damp conditions reduce its strength, and uneven moisture can make board warp.
Can you also make the box?
Yes. Annant Udyog converts its own sheets into corrugated boxes. See Corrugated Boxes.
